FAQ's ♡

What is Raw Hair?

Raw hair is 100% unprocessed human hair sourced from a single donor. All cuticles are intact and aligned in one direction. It comes in three natural textures: Wavy, Straight, and Curly. Each bundle is unique due to its natural state, but the differences are subtle enough for seamless blending.

What’s the difference between Raw, Virgin, and Synthetic Mixed Hair?

Virgin and mixed hair (like Brazilian or Peruvian) is steamed or chemically processed to create certain textures. Raw hair is not processed at all — no steam, no color, no chemicals. It lasts longer and offers better quality.

Why is Raw Hair more expensive?

Raw hair is rare, high-quality, and completely unprocessed. It’s the best hair on the market — and that comes with a higher price. We offer promotions throughout the year. To stay updated, sign up for our newsletter.

Does Raw Hair need maintenance?

Yes. Raw hair should be treated like your natural hair. Wash, condition, and moisturize it regularly. For more details, visit our Hair Care page.

Can I bleach or dye the hair?

Yes. Because our hair is 100% unprocessed, it can be bleached or dyed all the way to 613 — the blondest blonde. We recommend keeping color-treated hair deep conditioned and moisturized to maintain its health and shine.

How many bundles do I need?

  • 12–14 inches: 2–3 bundles
  • 16 inches and longer: 3–4 bundles (depending on desired fullness)

Each bundle weighs approximately 100g (3.5 oz). Longer lengths have shorter wefts.

How long does the hair last?

With proper care, our raw hair can last 3 to 5 years. Excessive heat and chemical treatments may affect the hair’s natural pattern over time.

Does the hair shed?

Minimal shedding is normal. To reduce shedding:

  • Do not sew through the weft during install — sew around it.
  • If you cut the weft, you may experience shedding from loose strands.
  • Proper maintenance is essential.

How often do you restock?

  • Once a month.
  • Twice a month during holidays (Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s Day, etc.).
